Direct Purchasing : mesuring instruments
As part of a corporate reorganization, an AgileBuyer consultant joined the Purchasing team.
The mission of the consultant was to:
- Conduct bidding on different investments
- Manage the purchasing part of the various development projects
- Make savings
- Diagnose the purchase process
- Propose improvements in a not very mature purchase structure
In order to carry out this mission, the AgileBuyer consultant first adapted himself to the customer structure to demonstrate a real added value. He then worked on several aspects, such as:
- Correction of malfunctions
- Sensitize prescribers on the need to respect the process
- The construction of a supplier base to target the families at stake and to organize the negotiations
- The Negotiation of multi-year contracts to generate savings and facilitate management
- Realization of € 340k in savings the same year and € 350k the next year
- Update of order formats, contracts, CGA and Scorecards …
- Implementation of templates (RFQ, supplier quality manual, supplier selection matrix, etc.)
- Development of the supplier base Creation of purchasing families and purchasing strategies on key families.
- Its experience in technical purchasing
- Its expertise in the world of purchasing and in the analysis of its processes
- Its ability to deliver concrete, measurable results
- Its approach (TCO, Redesign to Cost, Series / Project…)
